PoC1 Validation Center opens in Huizhou

The AEROGRID® proof-of-concept validation window is now open, running through September 2026, with Vanguard partners invited to attend on site.

The AEROGRID® PoC1 Validation Center in Huizhou, China is now open, opening the validation window that runs through September 2026.

PoC1 is the point at which the modeled economics of the Micro-Wind Solar Hybrid platform are measured against a built array. The programme targets a levelised cost of energy of $0.08/kWh, falling to approximately $0.07/kWh at MW scale.

What partners see on site

  • The 50kW wind-solar hybrid array configuration, with a footprint of 30m L × 3m W × 8m H
  • Oscillating aerofoil operation across the hexagonal ducted panels, with no rotating components
  • Integrated sun tracking, which auto-adjusts daily to lift solar efficiency by up to 30%
  • Hydraulic energy buffering and grid-friendly power conversion

Next steps for Vanguard partners

Partners attending PoC1 may execute the Vanguard Agreement on site, which locks Showcase Array delivery for December 2026 and secures MW+ allocation in the 2027 production queue.

Site and yield assessment — wind mapping, LCOE projection and grid-connection planning — follows in the October to November 2026 window.
